Hi Karen, I use the Shiva Painstiks and they come with only the most basic of instructions on the box. I bought a book by Shelly Stokes called Paintstiks on Fabric and she sells them from her website www.cedarcanyontextiles.com but I think I got mine from eQuilter who also sell them. Hope this helps, Anne

I too have thought of getting the paint sticks. Which brand do you use and do you have a specific place you buy them from. Do they come with instructions or a dvd of instruction?

Thanks Hannele, the paintsticks are very effective for this. I think it helps if the leaves are not too dry as they get very delicate as they dry out and break easily.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I've thought of buying some paintsticks, but haven't had any idea what to start with them. This is a good idea! Thanks for sharing!
